We found this gem tucked away and it miraculously wasn't smudged or smeared.  This image, however, is blurry due to my bad photography using a phone in a low lit room. 

 

Dad got his professional artist career started at Knott's Berry Farm working at Bell's Portrait Studio there, doing portraits for park visitors who would sit with him as he created their likeness from pastel. He did that during his college years until he got hired on at Willardson + White Studio just after graduating from Art Center in 1979.
