Studio Darts
Acrylic Airbrush
This piece hung for years in Dad's studio in L.A. as well as Sioux City, and it hung right next to his dart board. This will always be a distinct memory of my childhood, and I am so glad we still have it.
This from Dad's days at the Willardson + White Studio when he first got going as an illustrator. The main subject in the center is fellow artist Chris Hopkins, and behind him holding the beer is their boss, Charlie White III. Dad is behind him, and then on the other side is another artist, Roger Bergendorff, and Maya who was the studio's administrator.
Apparently, Chris was supposed to do this painting, but he became ill and couldn't complete it, and so Dad took up the job to finish it up.
